The suspect, Anthony Rivers III, was charged with eleven counts of attempted second‑degree murder and possession of a firearm by a delinquent. Police said the shooting followed a quarrel among acquaintances, and no victim was the intended target.

"Our community celebrated a victory on the field, only to be met with violence that shook us all," said Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell. "We remain committed to holding those responsible accountable and to ensuring safety for every family impacted by this tragedy."
