NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The U.S. Army has lifted the suspensions imposed on two helicopter pilots who momentarily hovered over Kid Rock’s swimming pool while he saluted them during a recent flight. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth took to social media to announce, 'No punishment. No Investigation. Carry on, patriots.'

Initially, the pilots from the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade were suspended pending an investigation into their actions. According to Army Major Montrell Russell, suspensions are typical when an investigation is conducted, but the Army later confirmed there would be no further actions taken.

Kid Rock, a notable supporter of the military, remarked that such interactions are not unusual for him, sharing that he has previously performed for troops in locations such as Afghanistan and Iraq. He expressed that it was 'really cool' to see the helicopters as they passed his residence.

During his video posts showcasing the helicopter hover, Kid Rock emphasized how supportive he is of the military and shared his interactions with pilots, stating, 'You guys are always welcome to cruise by my house.'

According to Major Jonathon Bless, the pilots were conducting a standard training mission at the time. He clarified that their visit to Rock's home and their subsequent flyover near a protest against former President Trump were unrelated events.

Overall, Kid Rock concluded that if the brief encounter brought joy to the service members, it was a positive experience. 'If it makes their day a little brighter for their service to our country, protecting us, I think that’s a great thing,' he said.
