The US Army has initiated a review after musician Kid Rock shared a video showcasing two military helicopters hovering outside his Tennessee home.

The Army confirmed that the AH-64 Apaches were performing a training route past the Nashville region, where the country rock artist's hilltop estate is situated.

An administrative review is underway to assess the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements, stated Army spokesman Maj Montrell Russell. Appropriate action will be taken if any violations are found.

Kid Rock, a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, uploaded footage to social media featuring himself gesturing towards the aircraft from his outdoor pool on Saturday.

In the clip, the singer, known for his song ‘Born Free,’ directed a profanity towards California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat who has had conflicts with Trump.

One segment of the video depicts Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, applauding and saluting as the helicopters hover nearby before leaving.

God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her, wrote Kid Rock in the video caption.

Another clip captures him pumping his fist as a second helicopter flies by his mansion, which he refers to as the Southern White House.

Maj Jonathon Bless, representing the Army's 101st Airborne Division based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, confirmed that the investigation has been launched.

We take all concerns regarding aircraft operations and their impact on the surrounding community seriously, Bless emphasized.
