Stars including Cate Blanchett, Glenn Close, and Richard Gere gathered at the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan on Sunday for the Giorgio Armani spring/summer 2026 collection show, his final collection before his death.

Originally intended to celebrate the 50 years of the luxury brand, the event transformed into a tribute for the iconic designer who passed away at the age of 91 earlier this month.

Models who had represented Armani over the decades graced the runway, showcasing a medley of timeless suits and exquisite dresses. The designs featured subtle earth tones, inspired by Armani's Italian heritage and his beloved island getaway, Pantelleria.

Live music enhanced the atmosphere, performed by acclaimed composer Ludovico Einaudi, while a poignant display of paper lanterns honored the late designer's recent public viewing.

Cate Blanchett remarked on the nostalgia of the evening, recalling the many memories associated with Armani. The grand finale featured a stunning blue glittering gown adorned with an image of Armani's face, earning a standing ovation from the audience.

The show highlighted not only the fashion but the profound impact Armani made on the industry and those he collaborated with, symbolizing both an end and a continuing legacy in the world of style.
