MAGA influencer admits assault on London Underground

The 40‑year‑old Donald Trump‑supporting social media star and PR executive Melissa Rein Lively has admitted to pulling a woman’s hair at Bond Street station, according to the Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

Rein Lively accepted a conditional caution and the assault by beating charge against her was withdrawn. She also agreed to pay £910 in compensation – an amount that was still unpaid and due in July.

Her partner, Philipp Ostermann, a 37‑year‑old German national who was with her on the day of the incident, denied two racially aggravated public order offences and a further public order offence. He was released on conditional bail, and is set to appear at the City of London Magistrates’ Court on 17 November.

The incident took place on the evening of 11 October. A woman, accompanied by her sister and two children in a pushchair, was attacked after Lively and Ostermann, who were apparently intoxicated and appeared to be kissing, approached them. Ostermann allegedly shouted, “You bloody Indians, watch where you’re going, you shouldn’t be here.” The woman reacted by stating the victims were not Indian and demanded Ostermann stop being racist. Lively then grabbed one of the sisters by the hair and tugged it forcefully.

Rein Lively is the founder of the America First Public Relations, a firm described as “anti‑woke.” Ostermann is an associate director at the Munich‑based private equity company Aequita.
