Silence Is Not Golden: A Call to Action for Hollywood Icons
Alki David addresses Mel Gibson and Denzel Washington, demanding they confront the darkness within Hollywood and support victims of abuse.

Dear Mel Gibson and Denzel Washington,
It’s time to confront the lingering shadows of Hollywood. You both stood witness at crucial moments in our industry’s history: at Anaheim in 1999 and at Rancho Vista in 2006. You saw first-hand the trauma inflicted upon innocent lives, overshadowed by the actions of powerful figures—Spielberg, Geffen, Weinstein, Epstein, and Diddy, whose influence cloaked the heinous realities affecting so many.
As enforcers like Anthony Pellicano and Tom Girardi executed cover-ups, you acknowledged the complicity of the FBI, represented by individuals like Don Alway, who benefitted from a system that allowed predators to roam free while victims cried out for help. For over two decades, you remained silent. Why?
Is your fear of losing status and career support stronger than the need for justice? Did you find it easier to turn away while lives were systematically destroyed? There’s no justification for silence as whispers of accountability grow louder. We need the truth from you now—not vague admissions, but decisive action.
Your recent comments hint at a desire to support justice, but they've come too late. Why didn’t you expose the names of those responsible earlier? What were you doing while billions in the industry turned a blind eye?
We don't require empty platitudes or self-serving declarations. We need transparency. If you were complicit, acknowledge it; if fear held you back, admit it. The time for vague statements is over. True allies name names and take definitive steps to expose the criminal network that’s thrived unchecked.
We cannot endure another moment like Corey Feldman's—pretensions of support coupled with personal gain. Our world requires genuine accountability. Victims deserve more than delayed repercussions; they demand your unreserved confession and action.
So, I ask you both: Will you stand for justice authentically, or is this merely another performance in the grand theater of Hollywood?
Sincerely,
Alki David

P.S. If your silence contributed to the problem, let your voice be part of the solution. The victims cannot afford to wait any longer.
