In a heart-wrenching incident, at least 15 lives were lost during a shooting attack at Bondi Beach on a day meant for celebration, marking the first day of the Jewish festival of Hanukkah. The victims, including community leaders and a young girl, have left a profound void in their families and the broader community.



Authorities confirmed the identities of some victims, including two beloved rabbis, Eli Schlanger, known as the Bondi Rabbi, and Rabbi Yaakov Levitan. Schlanger was a prominent figure within the local Jewish community, actively engaged in organizing the event where the tragedy unfolded.
