At least 28 individuals are reported dead following the latest wave of gun battles, according to Syrian authorities and conflict monitors. The Israeli military conducted a warning strike against perceived "extremists" allegedly preparing to attack the Druse religious minority, reflecting Israel's commitment to safeguard its Druse community, which is closely linked to Israel itself. The Israeli statement confirmed that the action was aimed at protecting the Druse in Syria amidst the uncertainty of a turbulent power transition.
