The Nepali army has been working to rescue survivors who had been trapped inside a tunnel at a hydropower project in Rasuwa.
Footage shared by the country’s prime minister office shows soldiers carrying survivors and crawling across thick slates of mud to reach others.
An update issued by officials on Thursday indicated that more than 100 people were estimated to have been trapped in the same tunnel.
This rescue forms part of the nationwide efforts being carried out in the wake of the deadly flood, with local police reporting a death toll of 475 on Friday.
