Showrunner Michael Patrick King shared the emotional news on Instagram, revealing his realization while penning the last installment that it may be the perfect moment to conclude the iconic narrative.

Drawing inspiration from the catchphrase of the character Carrie Bradshaw, the series explored the evolving lives, relationships, and fashion choices of its protagonists in their 50s. Although a two-part finale is still to come, King mentioned that he and main star Sarah Jessica Parker opted to delay the news of the show's conclusion to avoid detracting from the enjoyment of the current season.
