The 36-year-old musician was arrested at a hotel in Manchester during the early hours of Thursday and is currently in police custody. He is set to appear before Manchester Magistrates' Court on Friday to face the charges. Adele Kelly, the deputy chief crown prosecutor for CPS London North, confirmed the authorization of the charge, stating that criminal proceedings are active and the defendant has the right to a fair trial. Despite these allegations, Brown is still on tour and has upcoming performances scheduled across the UK in June and July.
