Sean 'Diddy' Combs' legal counsel Mark Geragos finds himself in the spotlight again, this time for allegedly orchestrating a staggering $213 million extortion plot connected to the late Michael Jackson's estate. The lawsuit has been filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by the Michael Jackson Company, along with co-executors John Branca and John McClain, accusing Frank Cascio, together with Geragos and additional unidentified collaborators, of civil extortion.

Geragos, who has featured in a multitude of legal controversies, was recently implicated in a separate extortion case involving Michael Avenatti's unsuccessful attempt to extort Nike. His professional history reveals a concerning trail of accusations, including allegations of fraud from the State Bar of California related to unethical financial activities.

Geragos' law firm has also faced scrutiny; his partner, Ben Meiseles, and his father Kenny Meiseles, both of whom have ties to Diddy, have been involved in various alleged criminal exploits. Notably, Meiseles had previously worked as Diddy’s assistant and has faced implications of violence, including an incident in which Kenny Meiseles purportedly threatened a music industry executive.

Adding another layer to the unfolding scandal is a 2018 incident involving Jonathan Oddi, a former sex worker associated with Diddy. Oddi's interrogation revealed claims that Diddy utilized his private jet for drug trafficking and that Geragos and Meiseles might have played a role in bribing him to remain silent about these activities.

Currently, Mark Geragos retains his license as an attorney in California, bar number 108325. If anyone has knowledge of any further ethical or criminal misconduct, they are encouraged to report it to the relevant authorities, including the State Bar of California.
